That's tonight from 7 to 10 o'clock on Your Average Abalone.

Tonight on Your Average Abalone, Johnny Bazzano will be playing songs from the highly anticipated double album folk opera from Tom Russell entitled The Rose of Roscrae, which will be released to the public on April 15th.

It's a ballad of the west as Tom tells the story of Irish John Sutton who leaves Ireland at the age of 16, sails to America and lives the life of a cowboy as he had heard in the songs and read in the dime novels.

There are 52 tracks on the double album.....and you'll hear plenty tonight at 7 o'clock on Your Average Abalone!
