Aaron Lee Tasjan is a singer-songwriter out of Nashville, but when you think Americana his sound might not be what comes to mind. His third studio album, Karma for Cheap, is a collection of reactionary songs to the climate of 2018 and how he views the political cacophony. He joins host Stephen Kallao to talk about his album’s positive message of unity, what being labeled Americana in 2018 means, and whether he thinks substance use helps his songwriting. All this, on the next World Cafe.
World Cafe airs Thursday at 3:00 pm on KRCB-FM Radio 91 / streaming @ norcalpublicmedia.org / Comcast Cable channel 961 all over the Bay Area / Download the FREE KRCB Mobile App @ iTunes & Google Play!
