CA Legislature Likely Needs To Re-Approve State Olympic Funding

The California Legislature has approved a quarter-billion dollars for the Los Angeles Olympic Games, but that was with the expectation the city would host in 2024. Monday’s announcement that the games will take place in 2028 could require lawmakers to reauthorize state funding.

ALSO: Today marks the start of a shortened commercial salmon fishing season in the waters off San Francisco. A smaller salmon population is one effect of the drought that could persist for years.
