Community Forum Thursday Following District Attorney's Decision

The Santa Rosa Veterans Hall will host a community forum on Thursday evening for members of the public to discuss their reaction to the death of Andy Lopez and the announcement that his shooter, Deputy Sheriff Erick Gelhaus will not be criminally prosecuted.

A community forum is schedule this evening, giving members of the public the opportunity to discuss the death of 13 year-old Andy Lopez and this week’s announcement that Deputy Sheriff Erik Gelhaus will not be criminally charged for the shooting. KRCB’s Danielle Venton spoke with Supervisor Zane to discuss the purpose of the forum. 

The forum will be held between 6:00 and 8:30 p.m. at the Santa Rosa Veterans Hall, and is hosted by Sonoma County Supervisor Shirlee Zane and Community and Local Law Enforcement Task Force.
