Two Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in Sonoma County will be closed Dec. 23-25 in observance of the holiday weekend.
The centers will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 26, and remain open through Thursday, Dec. 28, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Both centers will close permanently at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28.

DRCs are jointly run by the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Representatives from Cal OES, FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and other state and federal agencies staff the DRCs. The centers offer disaster assistance resources to survivors of the October wildfires.
Those affected by the October wildfires are reminded that FEMA is a phone call, a mouse click and the FEMA app away. Disaster survivors can go online at DisasterAssistance.gov, use the FEMA app on a smart phone or call 800-621-3362 or 800-462-7585 for TTY users. Applicants who use 711 or Video Relay Service can call 800-621-3362. The toll-free numbers are open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
SBA operates a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Napa County at the Health and Human Services Administration Building, 2751 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, Napa 94558. Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The DLOC will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25, for the holiday.
SBA representatives are available at DRCs and DLOCs throughout the affected areas to explain SBA’s disaster loan program and help business owners and residents close their approved disaster loans. No appointment is necessary.
The deadline to return applications for businesses that suffered losses as a direct result of the disaster (called economic injury loans) is July 12, 2018.

These disaster loans cover losses not fully compensated by insurance or other recoveries and do not duplicate benefits of other agencies or organizations.
