From floor to ceiling, backstage to the back rows, Santa Rosa’s Wells Fargo Center for the Arts is undergoing a major interior remodeling. The race is on to get all the work done before the next scheduled show there next Friday.
The work at the Wells Fargo Center is being done concurrently with construction of the new Sutter Medical Center on 10 acres purchased from the arts center. The adjacent facilities will share some parking, as well as the recently built new entry road, with its own traffic light. That is expected to also enhance the audience experience, as it will make exiting the center after shows much more efficient.
