In the wilder, open uplands of the North Bay, mountain lions remain a steady, if elusive presence. But just how many are out there? A current study of the big cats is trying to find that out, and learn much more about them.

Part of the ACR Mountain Lion research project is an online survey of public knowledge and attitudes regarding the big cats. You can take that short survey here.

On Thursday August 10, Dr. Quinton Martins will present findings from the project at the Laguna Environmental Center in Santa Rosa.
