We're at work on a pair of stories about the Trump administration executive order which could result in shrinking the protected National Marine Sanctuary areas off the coast of the North Bay. (They'll air on the North Bay Report July 24 and 25.) These areas were expanded by President Obama in 2015 after extensive comments and support from North Bay communities.

Since the comment period ends on July 26, we wanted to present this preview of our story, featuring ocean advocate Richard Charter, "ocean hero" and senior fellow of the Ocean Foundation. You can quickly send a comment to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to be included in the public record by visiting SaveOurMarineSanctuaries.org.
