Updates and information about re-entering neighborhoods damaged or evacuated during the North Bay Wildfires:

Additional Checkpoint Opened at Maria Carrillo for Mark West Spring Road Area

An additional checkpoint will be opened at Maria Carrillo High School. This checkpoint will provide an additional point of access for the the burned unincorporated county areas north of Santa Rosa that have been opened for limited access for residents and property owners.

Areas of Mark West Springs and Porter Creek Now Open for Limited, Restricted Re-entry of Burned Out Areas

As of 10:00 a.m. today, Monday October 23rd, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is opening the burned unincorporated county areas east of Mark West Springs Road to Porter Creek Road. Streets in this area include Mark West Springs from Riebli and Porter Creek Road to Fox Hunt Lane.  

 

Additional Areas in Kenwood and Glen Ellen Now Open for Limited, Restricted Re-entry of Burned Out Areas

As of 3:00 p.m. today, Sunday October 22nd, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is opening the burned unincorporated county areas located on the north side (also known as the east side) of Highway 12 in Kenwood and Glen Ellen, between Coffin Lane (Kenwood) and Moon Mountain Road for limited re-entry by residents and property owners. This area includes burned out areas and tributaries of Kinnybrook Drive, Nuns Canyon Road, Neiligan Road, Trinity Road, Cavedale Road and Moon Mountain Road. Adobe Canyon Road and Pythian Road are still closed.  

 

Areas of Mark West Springs and Riebli Roads Now Open for Limited, Restricted Re-entry of Burned Out Areas

As of 2:00 p.m. today, Sunday October 22nd, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is opening the burned unincorporated county areas of Mark West Springs and Riebli Roads to re-entry by residents and property owners. This area includes burned out areas and tributaries of Mark West Springs Road, Riebli Road, Wallace Road, and Foothill Ranch Road. Mark West Springs Road closes at Riebli Road.

 

Areas of Larkfield and Wikiup Now Open for Limited, Restricted Re-entry of Burned Out Areas

As of 12:30 p.m. today, Sunday October 22nd, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is opening the burned unincorporated county areas east of Larkfield and Wikiup for limited re-entry by residents and property owners. This area includes the burned out areas on Old Redwood Hwy to Angela Dr in the Cardinal Newman area, Pacific Heights neighborhood and Wikiup north to Mayacama.  

 

Evacuation Orders Lifted for Areas of Glen Ellen

As of 12:30 p.m. today, Sunday October 22nd, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is lifting evacuation orders in portions of the Glen Ellen community that fall within the burn zone. This area will be open for residents and property owners only.
