• Southeastern Oklahoma State University paid over 1.1 million dollars in a discrimination lawsuit involving a transgender faculty member.  Meanwhile, the Trump administration says it will interpret Title VII of the Civil Rights Act to exclude future claims by transgender people.

• A conservative and anti-gay lawmaker in Ohio resigned from office last week after being caught having sex with another man in his office.

• In San Jose, six men are suing the police department following their arrest for lewd conduct during an undercover sting.  The city’s police chief says the department no longer uses such tactics and is taking big steps to reach out to the LGBT community.
