Simulating Cuba at the International Model UN

Apr 30, 2014

Every spring, a group of students from Sonoma State take part in a global simulation of the United Nations, but representing a country very different from their own. The 26 delegates have just returned, bringing back a few honors with them. To get a debriefing on their trip, we hear today from their faculty advisor.

In recent years, the SSU student delegation has represented Venezuela, Ukraine, Serbia, Thailand and Myanmar. They have earned  nine awards over the pat four years, an impressive accomplishment as only 10% of all delegations receive awards. To learn more about the International Model UN,click here.
