On this coming week's show we'll hear new music from Pepper Proud out of the Seattle music scene and new music from a trio of women called The Box Car Lilies out of Western Mass in the Pioneer Valley. We also give a listen to Karine Polwart, a Celtic/Gaelic singer/songwriter with new music from Scotland, as well as a classic Irish tune from Pauline Scanlon off of her 2004 release "Red Colour Sun." Then settle in for the progressive sounds of Julia Easterlin doing a brilliant cover of the Pixies' "Break My Body" and new music from Courtney Jaye based in Nashville. Then we'll finish up the hour with global rhythms from 1994 with a band called Mouth Music, and we'll hear from Talitha MacKenzie, former member and co-founder of Mouth Music.
That's all coming up this week on Women In Music.
