Bands

Here is what's coming up on World Cafe this week (June 26th - June 30th) - 2:00 pm Monday-Friday on KRCB-FM Radio 91!

Phoenix holed up in an old Paris opera house in 2014 to begin recording their new album Ti Amo. The French band turned their feelings of unrest about the tumultuous times around them into music that serves as an escape. Ti Amo explores “love, desire, lust and innocence” with the a romanticized flair of summer discos in Italy.

On this week’s broadcast of Mountain Stage with Larry Groce, you’ll hear a set from pop singer and songwriter Brett Dennen, along with his band.

Haunting neo-folk sensation Elephant Revival make their return to the show, with new songs and a few old favorites.

Beloved alt-rock trailblazers Cracker show their country side.

And you’ll hear performances from newcomers Liz Vice and Lords of Liechtenstein.

Listen to Mountain Stage with host Larry Groce every Saturday at noon on KRCB-FM Radio 91!

This week, eTown turns on the southern charm as the crew hits the road to Athens, Georgia for a very special radio broadcast from the legendary Georgia Theater with local group Cicada Rhythm plus longtime friend of the show JJ Grey. We have lots of great music from both artists, plus a great eChievement Award story about a Georgia-based organization that is helping to provide books and the joy of reading to children in the area. Be sure to tune in!
