A new bill, set to be heard in the California Assembly on Wednesday, addresses sea level rise and aims to protect public access to shorelines up and down the state. But it would also penalize many coastal homeowners who have illegal or unpermitted seawalls. KRCB’s Tiffany Camhi reports not all coastal communities are happy about it.

  California State Parks' controversial proposal to charge parking fees at some of Sonoma Coast’s most popular beaches is stalled after a vote yesterday by the California Coastal Commission’s governing board. KRCB’s Tiffany Camhi reports the decision goes against the Commission staff’s recommendation for an outright denial of the fees.
