As part of an ongoing partnership in response to the recent fires, the City of Santa Rosa and County of Sonoma have established the Sonoma County Consolidated Fire Debris Removal Program (Program) to focus on removal of household hazardous waste and other fire-related debris. A Debris Removal Frequently Asked Questions and other helpful information is now available for the community about this important issue at the Sonoma County Recovers website: www.sonomacountyrecovers.org/debris-removal.

 

Debris Removal Process and Frequently Asked Questions

In coordination with state and federal partners, the County of Sonoma will hold a community meeting from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2. The meeting will be held at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall located at 126 1st St. West, in Sonoma.

Long overlooked by the rest of Sonoma County, the south end of the Valley of the Moon is now charting a revitalized future. But the extensive community input process will eventually have to reconcile their sometimes conflicting desires.
