• As wildfires increasingly scorch California year after year, state lawmakers and Gov. Jerry Brown are debating who should be liable for the billions of dollars of damages.

 

• The California State Auditor's new report says 86 cases reached the point where investigations were necessary. Of those, it gave seven examples of extreme abuse by state employees.

Beginning Monday, October 23, entry passes to Coffey Park and Fountaingrove will be issued at the City offices at 69 Stony Circle 

Residents who need entry passes, may go to the City Transportation and Public Works Department at 69 Stony Circle. Passes will be issued Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.  

Advisory: City Prepares Residents for Return to Neighborhoods; Coffey Park & Fountaingrove

The City of Santa Rosa begins controlled re-entry for Fountaingrove residents to return and visit their property on Saturday, October 21 at 10am. Controlled re-entry into the Coffey Park neighborhood resumes on October 21.  

Based on public feedback, the controlled access re-entry period for both areas is extended at least through Sunday, October 29, 2017. More details will be provided in the coming days.
