Sunday May 14th is Mother's Day. KRCB-FM Radio 91 will air a special edition of The Moth Radio Hour dedicated to Mothers. A woman who has never wanted children suddenly questions her choice, a little girl gets angry at her mother and runs away from home, a son struggles at his mother's deathbed, and a man finds a mother's love in unconventional ways. Hosted by The Moth Radio Hour Producer, Jay Allison (with help from his mom).  

Stories in this special edition of The Moth:  

May 12th, 2017 - American Routes celebrates Mother's Day with Marty Stuart and his mom, Hilda. We'll talk about their shared love of photography and a certain girl singer, Connie Smith. Then we'll hear stories about mothers from Fontella Bass, Sonny Rollins, Bo Diddley, and Geno Delafose, among others. Plus songs from blues to bluegrass about and for dear old mom.
