Sonoma County Transit will resume limited operation on Friday, October 13.

The following routes will operate on Saturday schedules, unless noted:

10 & 12 – Saturday schedule, normal routing

20 – Saturday schedule, normal routing

24 – Saturday schedule, normal routing

28 – Weekday schedule, normal routing

44 & 48 – Saturday schedule, normal routing

66 – Saturday schedule, normal routing

California State Parks announced today that it is opening campsites at Sonoma Coast State Park and Salt Point State Park to residents affected by Northern California fires. 

Although not an official evacuation site, campsites will be open to meet the temporary immediate needs of displaced residents. 

Campsites will be available at Bodega Dunes Campground and Wrights Beach within Sonoma Coast State Park and Woodside Campground within Salt Point State Park. Services available at these sites include showers, bathrooms, drinking water and trash bins.

NEW: Advisory Evacuation Area 

The Santa Rosa Police Department is issuing an ADVISORY evacuation area for northeast Santa Rosa (see included map). This is a VOLUNTARY evacuation as the fire is not an imminent threat, but the conditions may change quickly. Please monitor the weather and stay alert.

Emergency response agencies throughout Sonoma County continue to fight numerous fires in the County. The County’s Emergency Operations Center remains active and is staffed around the clock. CAL FIRE continues to release fire activity and containment information at approximately 7:00am and 7:00pm daily at fire.ca.gov.. There are 11 confirmed fatalities from the emergency.

Due to the outpouring of donations and volunteer assistance during this time of need, Finley Community Center can no longer accept donations. Additionally, Red Cross will no longer be at the Rohnert Park DoubleTree accepting volunteers.

CityBus is operating on a Saturday schedule through the end of the week, with service free of charge

The following detours will continue until further notice:

Route 1: Outbound from Transit Mall, the bus will turn left on Steele Lane to get to Coddingtown Mall, with no service to Bicentennial. The bus will return the same way.

Route 10: Bus will turn around at Coffey and Bluebell and return to Coddingtown (no northern loop service).

SANTA ROSA CITYBUS UPDATE for WEDNESDAY, 10/11:  

CityBus will operate on a Saturday schedule on Wednesday as we continue to assist with emergency operations--Routes 2, 4B, 7, and 19 will not operate.
