This week on Ric on the Radio, it's Summer Rock Festival 2017! This is Ric's second summer rock festival. Like last year's show, the lineup features bands who are currently playing the festival circuit. If you didn't make it to one of the over 160 summer music festivals in the U.S., do not fear, Ric's Summer Rock Festival is sure to help you get your lollapalooza on. This year's show features co-headliners Kings Of Leon and Cage The Elephant, along with a great supporting cast: Phoenix, Bon Iver, Broken Social Scene, Hippo Campus and Silversun Pickups. Aug. 31, 9-11pm on KRCB fm 91.1.

In this week’s encore broadcast, eclectic Americana multi-instrumentalists Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys make their first visit to eTown’s solar-powered stage to share their forward-looking take on American roots music. Also joining us for the first time is Swedish/Icelandic female folk duo My Bubba who share their sparse and beautiful music, as well as stories about their experiences in circus school and side jobs as locomotive engineers.
