Rhythm & Roots

As with everything that is constantly evolving, KRCB-FM has a few schedule changes coming up that will take effect on May 1st.

The main daytime (5 am – 7 pm) block of programs that you know and love are staying right where they are – so you don’t have to worry about them.

The weeknight schedule is being shaken up, shuffled, and will hopefully be fun and entertaining to listen to! There are also a couple of changes on Saturdays and Sundays as well.

Here’s the lineup that will be in place beginning Tuesday May 1st, 2018:

Do you remember the Inn of the Beginning? Mark Nicholas lived on George Street from 1971-77. The Inn was his hangout. Tonight he'll reminisce about the Inn of the Beginning, and he'll play many of the artists who performed there, including David Bromberg, Van Morrison, Asleep at the Wheel, Jimmy Witherspoon, and even the Tubes. Mark's college buddy David will be joining him.

Tune in tonight at 8PM PDT and relive some of those fond memories of downtown Cotati in the 60's and 70's, here on KRCB.

Tonight on Rhythm & Roots:

Mark Nicholas presents part 2 of "I Hear Dead People," his tribute to those who passed.  In addition to musical guests like: Greg Allman, Glenn Campbell, and Barbara Cook, he'll also honor some of the funny people in the entertainment world like:  Don Rickles, Bill Dana, who played Jose Jiminez, and Dick Orkin.  Who was Dick Orkin?

Tune in to KRCB tonight at 8PM and find out!
